If the time on your Operating System's clock settings don't match the actual time of the Region your computer is set to, it triggers an event in Google Chrome that can cause an error with the BuzzStream.. This typically occurs when your local computer time matches the actual time in your location, but does not match the actual time zone of the Region your computer is set to.
To correct this issue, take these steps:
PC Running Windows 10:
To resolve this you'll need to make sure the location and time settings are set to your physical location. Use this video for instructions on how to set the Region. (FYI - This video shows Windows 10. If you're on a different version look up the details of changing the region for your version of Windows or see if the instructions detailed give you enough info to find it.)
One important thing to note - You can change the time of the computer independently from the Region. If you do not change the region and only adjust the time ,this won't correct the issue you're running into installing the BuzzMarker as your computer will send in the time corrected for the specified region, which will result in an incorrect time being sent to us.
Here's a video on setting time in Windows just so you see the difference. There's one last thing I would look at in the Time Settings that might be helpful. There is a tab in the Set time screen titled "Internet time". It's the 3rd tab over to the right. If you can enable this to set the time automatically. Here's a faq with more details.
