There are two advantages to using the Prospecting Toolset over Google Searches.
1. You can quickly turn BuzzStream found prospects into contacts. Once you do add them as a contact you can work with them the same way you currently work with your Link Partners and Links. This includes documenting and adding desired links, adding notes, assigning tasks, managing workflow, and conducting outreach just to name a few.
2. BuzzStream collects information that reduces the time required to research Link Partners and opportunities. The information BuzzStream collects includes:
Suggested Profile Info: Contact information and Social Profile
BuzzStream looks for contact information for contacts in your account. It looks for related email addresses, phone numbers, Twitter id's, Facebook pages, and Linked In profiles. You can review each potential match and add it to your contacts record or delete it if it doesn't match. In cases where all the suggested contact info is a match, you can use the "Add All" link.
BuzzStream Automatically collects metrics for each prospect to help you determine if they are a good match or partner for you. Prospecting specific metrics include:
- Highest SERP Position - across all of the prospecting queries in the Prospecting Profile you're looking at, this is the highest position this site appears in the search results.
- Average SERP Position
- SERP Count - Top 10 - across all of the prospecting queries in the Prospecting Profile you're looking at
- SERP Count - Top 20
In addition to the Prospecting specific metrics, BuzzStream automatically collects the following metrics for all Prospects (as well as Link Partners):
- Inbound Links
- Juice Passing Links
- Domain Age
- IP Address
Does the Prospect have an RSS Feed? BuzzStream looks for the RSS feed for the Prospects and allows you to easily to view the feed within BuzzStream.
BuzzStream gathers screen shots of the prospect links is gathers based on the search parameters you entered. Simply roll your cursor over the image to initiate a pop-up containing the screen shot of the prospective linking from URL.
Contained within the Screen Shot is the search snippet detailing the position in the search, the search string, date and the part of the sites content matching your search.
